Career foundation

At iD Fresh Food, Anees served as CTO from April 2018 to August 2023 and also held CHRO responsibilities during part of that tenure. His work connected technology with forecasting, production, procurement, distribution and people systems.

Before iD Fresh, he led the Terminal Management Centre of Excellence in India at Verifone. His Verifone tenure ran from April 2006 to February 2018. Earlier roles at GE Healthcare and Hewlett-Packard established his software and enterprise technology foundation.

Consulting and founder advisory

His advisory work includes a Saudi sweets and pastry business with approximately 200 production staff and around 40 outlets, including leadership development and an operational live-kitchen concept; mentoring and recruitment support for a food-service chain with more than 20 outlets in Mecca and Madina; commercial and testing work for a green fuel venture; an extended carbon-neutrality advisory engagement; and business-model assessment for a consumer marketplace.
